Rosa von Praunheim wurde 1968 bei der dffb abgelehnt. Helene Schwarz, die Sekretärin, blieb ihm in Erinnerung, weil sie sich warmherzig und liebevoll dem jungen Fremden gegenüber verhielt, der im Büro seine Papiere abholte. Danach trafen sie sich manchmal. Seit sechs Jahren gehört Praunheim zu der Runde, in der Helene jeden Montag Skat spielt. Da entstand auch die Idee, dass Helene ihr Leben aufschreiben sollte. Sie schob das weg, bis Praunheim eine Videokamera aufbaute und sie 75 Stunden lang ausfragte. Dann redete er noch mit vielen Leuten, die Helene kennen, suchte Dokumentarmaterial von der dffb und machte seinen Film: "Wer ist Helene Schwarz?" Er musste lange bei den Sendern rumfragen, weil Helene Schwarz da kein Begriff war. Dann argumentiert er schlauer: Das ist eine Frau, die alle prominenten Filmemacher kennt. Über diese Bande funktionierte es. Der Film läuft nach der Premiere bei der Berlinale auf ARTE. Und viele Jornalisten fragen jetzt Helene Schwarz, wie man leben muss, um so geliebt und verehrt zu werden. (Auszug aus einem Artikel von Regine Sylvester) (Roa von Praunheim)
