TON-U Dua Lipa goes Disco-Pop; Drei Jahre sind vergangen, seit Dua Lipa ihr nach sich selbst benanntes Debüt veröffentlichte und damit bis auf Platz drei der UK-Charts kletterte. 2020 steht nun der mit Spannung erwartete Nachfolger in den Startlöchern: Hier ist "Future Nostalgia". Elf Tracks hat die britische Sängerin und Songwriterin dafür aufgenommen. Mit den beiden Singles "Dont Start Now" und "Physical" gab es vorab bereits zwei Vorgeschmäcke. Und die zeigen: Vom "Dark Pop" des Vorgängers geht es auf "Future Nostalgia" nun eher in Richtung Disco-Pop. Der Albumtitel ist also scheinbar Programm. Inspiriert wurde sie dabei laut eigenen Angaben von Künstlern wie Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Moloko, Blondie und Outkast. Das Ergebnis ist ein Album, das dem starken Erstling in nichts nachsteht. Im Gegenteil: "Future Nostalgia" ist eingängig, hitlastig, tanzbar und zeigt die spannende Weiterentwicklung von Dua Lipa (jpc.de).
