Fortsetzung der erfolgreichen Romanverfilmung "Die purpurnen Flüsse" (2000), die an Tempo, Action und vordergründigen Effekten den ersten Teil übertrifft, der es aber an inhaltlicher Kohärenz und religiöser wie politischer Glaubwürdigkeit mangelt.
