Standardisierung hat insbesondere in der kartellrechtlichen Diskussion an Bedeutung gewonnen. Ein Problem, das dabei besonderes Interesse geweckt hat, ist der Umgang mit immaterialgüterrechtlich geschützten Informationen, die Inhalt eines Standards werden sollen. Anhand einer Reihe von Fällen untersucht die Autorin Konstellationen, bei denen Patentinhaber das Standardisierungsverfahren manipulieren. Der Schwerpunkt der Arbeit liegt auf Lösungsansätzen der Standardisierungsorganisationen sowie auf nationalem, europäischem Kartell- und Patentrecht mit Bezügen zum US-amerikanischen Recht. Ziel ist es, die Unzulänglichkeiten der derzeitigen rechtlichen Ausgestaltungen aufzuzeigen und einen patentrechtlichen Lösungsausblick zu entwickeln.
