Content:
Eine prunkvolle Speisekarte zeigt, was man im belagerten Paris essen kann. Oben sitzt in einem Eichen- und Lorbeerkranz die Allegorie der Stadt Paris als eine bewaffnete, mit einer Mauerkrone bekränzte Frau, die sich auf eine Kanone stützt. Über ihr fährt ein mit Trikoloren verzierter Ballon. Rings um die Karte herum stehen als Ersatznahrungsmittel verschiedene Pflanzen und exotische (Dromedar, Flusspferd, Elefant, Giraffe, Walross, Kamel), sowie ordinäre (Ratte, Hund, Esel, Eichhörnchen, Pferd) Tiere, während Preisschilder zeigen, wie knapp und teuer alle Nahrungsmittel geworden sind. Unten trägt eine Fledermaus ein Spruchband, auf dem "4 bis 5000 Toten pro Woche" steht.
