This book is concerned with “How to provide guidance for small cultural heritage institutions to govern digital transformation, and how to align the possibilities with the available capabilities by creating a Software Framework for Mobile Apps in the Museum Application Domain?”. The role of the museum has shifted from a keeper of artifacts to a provider of information. In this context mobile applications are intended to generate added value for the museum visitor.
