Gegen die vorherrschende Meinung, daß Eichendorffs lyrisches OEuvre durch zeitenthobene Formelhaftigkeit treffend charakterisiert ist, versucht die vorliegende Studie eine chronologische Lektüre der Eichendorffschen Gedichte. Auf diese Weise werden der dynamische Charakter seines Dichtens und die Prozeßhaftigkeit von Eichendorffs Gedanken- und Bildkonstitution sichtbar.
