The challenges in respect to the implementation of the knowledge management in the Air Force have been identified. The Air Force is well positioned with its initiated activities. It acts with determination and a view to the whole, but not in isolation. From the very beginning was the already performed conceptual work designed for Bundeswehr-wide use. The realization of concrete projects allows other organizational areas to participate in the results over and above the use for the Air Force. In this way an excellent basis is being created for an efficient and effective exploitation and development of the resource 〉knowledge〈 in the Bundeswehr and beyond. (Europäische Sicherheit / SWP)
