Eine Essaysammlung, die zur Erläuterung ihres Titels (der mir etwas eklektisch scheint) mit einer kleinen Definitionsspielerei um "Schöne" beginnt, sowie einer kurzen Einführung - "Portale" genannt - in Werk und Leben von 9 Autorinnen (mit dabei Gustave Flaubert in Vertretung von Madame Bovary). Draesners (s. zuletzt BA 5/02, 12/05, ID 24/05) Arbeiten wurden mehrfach ausgezeichnet, ihre neuen Texte setzen Werk- und Biografienkenntnisse voraus, ohne die sich ihre Schätze nicht heben lassen, ihre Wahrnehmungswelten verschlossen bleiben. Wie sonst ließen sich die Kontexte von Leitsätzen wie "Annette von Droste-Hülshoff und das Schleichen der Spione", "Sprachwandern mit Gertrude Stein", Frau Bachmann und der Schwindel im Erzählen", "49 Mondschübe nach Wien" (Friederike Mayröcker) oder "Antonia S. Byatts Tesaband" einordnen? Eigenwillig und assoziativ umherschweifend, verdichtend, interpretierend, fabulierend wecken sie Freude am Denken und Lesen, Weiterdenken und Nochmallesen. Sofern gewollt und folgen wollend, was sich bei anspruchsvollen, geübten LiteraturkonsumentInnen gut vorstellen lässt: (3)
