The statement of latitude in the title is perhaps intended to divert attention from the true source of the almanac's calculations, which are the work of John Tobler. The astronomical notes on the calendar pages, with some omissions and additions, are identical with those in his Pennsilvania town and country-man's almanack for 1762, published at Germantown. Most of that almanac's notes on the day's length are left out, and a few others inserted. The calculations for the moon are duplicated throughout, and the eclipse predictions are also the same in wording and in the times given
