Verhulst lässt seinen Protagonisten auf humoristische Weise in einer kreativen Sprache die Aktualität vom Pflegenotstand erfahren und nimmt Gesellschaft und Pflegedienst genüsslich auf die Schippe! Die komisch-tragische Situation der Bewohner spricht für sich: Bei einem alten Nazi geht nichts mehr ohne deutschen Gruss und die früher so schöne Rosa sitzt wie eine abgedankte Topfpflanze in ihrem Rollstuhl. Ein Roman voll Schärfe, Skurrilität und schwarzem Humor, der sehr viele Leser ansprechen wird
