Meike Dreckmann-Nielen untersucht, wie sich einstige Mitglieder der Gruppe heute an ihre eigene Vergangenheit erinnern. In ihrer Studie ermöglicht sie einen intimen Einblick in komplexe erinnerungskulturelle Dynamiken im Mikrokosmos der ehemaligen Siedlungsgemeinschaft."

Biographisches: "Meike Dreckmann-Nielen, geb. 1989, ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Freien Universität Berlin im Bereich Public History. Außerdem ist sie Initiatorin und Autorin des Colonia Dignidad Public History Forschungsblogs (CDPHB). Ihr Dissertationsprojekt entstand im Rahmen eines Promotionsstipendiums der Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung."
