Seit 1996 zeichnet das eingespielte Team nach dem Motto »Jeder Krieg hat seine Opfer, das gleiche gilt für den guten Witz« für die Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (F.A.Z.), von 2004 bis 2013 für den Stern und seit 2013 auch für den Focus. Mit ihrer Arbeit haben sich Greser & Lenz in den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten einen Namen gemacht und wurden dafür 2004 mit dem »Geflügelten Bleistift« in Gold des Deutschen Karikaturenpreises geehrt. Das Zeppelin Museum Friedrichshafen widmet den beiden Karikaturisten eine große Einzelausstellung. Aus dem mittlerweile auf mehrere Tausend Originalzeichnungen angewachsenen Archiv wurden ca. 200 Karikaturen ausgewählt. Zeitschriften, Filme und Fotografien runden die Ausstellung ab und bieten einen Einblick in die Arbeitsweise des Duos Greser & Lenz, die von ihrer Heimatstadt Aschaffenburg aus die Republik und ihre politische Landschaft ins Visier nehmen. Die Ausstellung lässt neben den Themenfeldern Sport, Politik, Zeitgeschehen und Religion auch die Technik zu Wort kommen. Der Katalog zur Ausstellung enthält ca. 150 Farbabbildungen und einen Aufsatz von Andreas Platthaus, Comic-Experte und stv. Feuilleton-Chef der F.A.Z. (Verlagstext)
