    Inhalt: Lesern der FAZ und der Schweizer SonntagsZeitung dürfte Rolf Dobelli durch seine allwöchentlichen Kolumnen bekannt sein. Aber auch wer den Buchmarkt aufmerksam verfolgt, wird Dobelli, zumindest dem Namen nach, kennen (zuletzt BA 10/10). In diesem Band, verziert durch hübsche bunte Illustrationen von Birgit Lang, zeigt Dobelli, witzig und spritzig, an 52 Beispielen, dass wir immer wieder auf Denkfehler hereinfallen, weil wir u.a. gegenüber Autoritäten zu unkritisch sind, uns entweder zu wenig oder zu viel zutrauen, weil wir die Wirklichkeit nicht richtig wahrnehmen und oft weniger unter Kontrolle haben als wir denken oder weil wir geliebt werden wollen. Dabei spart er nicht mit guten Ratschlägen. Wir sollten, rät er, z.B. einen Bogen um "Selbsthilfeliteratur" machen, unser Wissen und unsere Fähigkeiten nicht überschätzen und dergleichen mehr. Beeinträchtigt wird die Lektüre allerdings durch viele englische Begriffe und Überschriften, die nur mangelhaft oder gar nicht übersetzt sind. Auch dürfte nicht jeder Leser Abkürzungen wie "CEO, KMU, MBA, NGO", die ebenfalls nicht entschlüsselt werden, kennen. (2)
