Abstract: Three new polyoxypregnane glycosides, gymnepregosides G, H, and I, together with four known compounds were isolated from the stems of Gymnema alternifolium. The structural elucidation were determined principally by spectral data, and assigned to be 12‐O‐cinnamoyl‐3β,5α,8β,12β,14β,17β,20‐heptahydroxy‐(20S)‐pregn‐6‐enyl‐3‐O‐β‐D‐cymaropyranoside (1), 20‐O‐benzoyl‐12‐O‐cinnamoyl‐3β,5α,8β,12β,14β,17β,20‐heptahydroxy‐(20S)‐pregn‐6‐enyl‐3‐O‐β‐D‐cymaropyranoside (2), and penupogenin 3‐O‐β‐D‐cymaropyranoside (3), respectively.
