Biographisches: "Marcel Proust, 1871 geboren, gilt neben Joyce und Kafka als Begründer der literarischen Moderne. Er führte - schon früh an Asthma leidend - nach Studium und Tätigkeit in der Bibliothèque Mazarine in Paris ein Salonleben, das nur von Reisen unterbrochen wurde. Nach dem Tod seiner Mutter zog sich Proust aus dem sozialen Leben in die Einsamkeit eines schallisolierten, mit Kork ausgeschlagenen Zimmers am Boulevard Haussmann zurück und machte die Arbeit an dem Roman Auf der Suche nach der verlorenen Zeit zum einzigen Inhalt seiner Existenz. Im März 1922 beendete er das Werk und betrachtete dies als Erfüllung seines Lebens. Proust starb kurze Zeit später in Paris." Biographisches: "Michael Rotschopf, geboren 1969 in Lienz (Österreich), erhielt seine Schauspielausbildung am Max-Reinhardt-Seminar in Wien und wurde bereits während seiner Ausbildung ans Wiener-Burgtheater geholt. 1996 bekam er den O.E. Hasse-Preis der Berliner Akademie der Künste verliehen und arbeitete mit Theaterregisseuren wie Hans Hollmann, Adolf Dresen, Michael Simon und Matthias Hartmann zusammen. Peter Stein engagierte Rotschopf für seine Inszenierungen von Faust (2000), Wallenstein (2007) und Der zerbrochne Krug (2008–2012). Inzwischen ist Michael Rotschopf auch als Sprecher in Konzerten, Hörspielen und Hörbuchproduktionen gefragt."
