    Teacher’s Communication Model in Learning Islamic Education for Autism Children

    Abstract: The communication model in the education process is the main thing—no exception in education for children who experience psychological difficulties such as children. The material, methods, and learning media needed are supported by a useful communication model to help the progress of religious education for autistic children. This study uses teacher communication methods in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Data collection uses interviews with the support of documentation in the form of photos, videos, and event support during field monitoring. Relevant research results in the study show that the communication model applied in the teaching of Islamic religion in special autistic school children, Bina Anggita Yogyakarta, uses two models: 1 (one) Direction and 2 (two) Directions. One-way communication is used for children whose verbal ability has not yet appeared. While 2-Way communication is used for autistic children who are able to communicate verbally. Strategies in learning use the concept of one teacher, one child. While education is done using the ABA and PECS methods. This method is useful in training and training students in expressing their desires. Based on the findings in this study, the communication model applied in special autism children development schools can be used as a learning model in other schools that manage autistic children.

    Abstract: This research concentrates on the religious-based gender framework within the pesantren education system by which pesantren has an institutional vision to empower women and naturally participates in developing gender discourse with Islamic religious nuance.  This research was conducted in East Java by taking the site of Pesantren Nurul Islam Antirogo, Pesantren Al-Falah Karangharjo Jember, and Pesantren Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. This research found that those pesantrens carried out reconstruction through theological-philosophical awareness that was designed from the dialogic process of re-interpretative religious normative texts with reality. The emergence of this awareness led the pesantren to direct their education system to feel egalitarian, non-discriminatory, and non-subordinate towards women inside and outside the pesantren.  The axiology of the pesantren education system leads to the normative value of the unity of humanity.  The realization of the education system ends up on peace values whether in the cultural, social, or even religious domains.

    Abstract: The aims of this research are (i) to reveal and explain the history of the existence of bendi in Soppeng. (ii) Describe the problems faced by bendi drivers in Soppeng. (iii) Revealing the role of the government and the community in preserving the bendi in Soppeng. In uncovering the existence of bendi in Soppeng Regency, this study uses historical research methods, namely (i) heuristics (ii) criticism (iii) interpretation (iv) historigraphy. In addition, to make it easier to understand the events under study, the authors use theoretical approaches such as (i) functional structure The results of this study indicate that, (i) the history of the existence of bendi in Indonesia which was originally only used for the nobility until finally it could be used in general by the community. (ii) Bendi in Soppeng begins with the existence of a bendi in Soppeng, knowing what it takes to become a bendi driver, types of traditional transportation in Indonesia and how the function and role of a bendi has changed from the colonial period to the modernization era, as well as the author describes the process of gradual decline in the bendi in Soppeng. (iii) regarding the preservation of the bendi carried out by the local government and the community.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah (i) Mengungkapkan dan menjelaskan sejarah keberadaan bendi di Soppeng. (ii) Menjelaskan problematika yang dihadapi kusir bendi di Soppeng. (iii) Mengungkapkan bagaimana peran pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam pelestarian bendi di Soppeng. Dalam mengungkap keberadaan bendi di Kabupaten Soppeng, penelitian ini mengunakan metode penelitian sejarah yaitu (i)heuristik (ii) kritik (iii) interpretasi (iv) historigrafi.selian itu untuk lebih mudah memahami kejadian yang diteliti maka penulis menggunakan pendekatan teori seperti (i) struktur fungsional  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (i) sejarah keberadaan bendi di Indonesia yang pada awalnya hanya digunakan untuk para kaum bangsawan saja hingga akhirnya bisa digunakan secara umum oleh masyarakat. (ii) Bendi di Soppeng di mulai dengan keberadaaan bendi di Soppeng, mengetahui apa saja yang dibutuhkan untuk menjadi kusir bendi, jenis-jenis trasportasi tradisional yang ada di Indonesia serta bagaimana perubahan fungsi dan peran bendi dari masa kolonial hingga era modernisasi, serta penulis juga menjalaskan proses kemunduran yang berangsur-asur terjadi pada bendi di Soppeng. (iii) tentang pelestraian bendi yang di lakukan oleh pihak pemerintah daerah serta masyarakat.

    Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah keberadaan pedagang Etnis Cina di Pattallassang Kabupaten Takalar (1971-2017), hubungan pedagang Etnis Cina dengan masyarakat setempat di tinjau dari segi ekonomi dan sosial, serta bagaimana pola perdagangan Etnis Cina. Penelitian ini merupakan  penelitian sejarah yang menggunakan metode sejarah melalui tahapan kerja yakni heuristik atau pengumpulan data, kritik sumber, interpretasi, historiografi atau hasil penulisan. Kedatangan para pedagang Cina di Takalar khususnya di desa Pattallassang secara Historis belum ditemukan angka pasti, namun ditemukan bukti Arkeologi di daerah Pattallassang yaitu salah satu kuburan etnik Cina yang berkisar tahun 1953-an yang terdapat di batu nisan tersebut dan masih menggunakan ejaan lama seperti kata Kuburnja. Namun barulah pada tahun 1971, terdapat etnis Cina yang bekerja sebagai pedagang. Dalam proses perdagangan etnis Cina yang datang ke Kabupaten Takalar, mereka  melakukan pembauran dengan masyarakat seperti perkawinan yang keturunannya kemudian disebut Cina peranakan. Istilah ini menunjuk pada masyarakat keturunan Cina yang kakek-neneknya telah menikah dengan masyarakat lokal yang juga dikenal dengan istilah Cina Baba dan Cina Nona. Sistem perdagangan yang dianut pedagang Etnis Cina berakar kuat pada sistem kongsi. Kongsi adalah suatu permufakatan antara dua orang atau lebih untuk melakukan usaha secara bersama dengan tujuan menikmati secara bersama manfaat atau keuntungan yang diperoleh dari usaha itu. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara penelitian lapangan terdiri dari wawancara ( Ryan Lie, Cici Nova, Ery Chou, Baba Henry, dan Baba Ling) dan mengumpulkan sumber arsip ( dokumen dari kantor desa dan BPS Kabupaten Takalar ) serta literatur-literatur yang berhubungan.

    Abstract: The results show that the role and function of Addatuang Sawitto before independence from 1942 to 1945 was only a symbol because his role in goverment was taken over by Japan. During the reign og the Dutch East Indies, the kings in South Sulawesi, especially in the Kingdom of Sawitto, were subjected to a short agreement or Korte Veklaring. Then during the independence revolution from 1945 to 19429 Addatuang Sawitto said he was submissive and was behind the Republic of Indonesia, but after the Dutch returned to Indonesia with NICA, the power of the aristocrats or kings was returned to the interests of the Netherlands in winning the hearts of the people. Meanwhile, after the independence revolution in 1950 to 1960 after the Dutch recognized Indonesian sovereignty and the elimination of puppet states including NIT and returned to the Republic of Indonesia, the government system was changed, where the system of government of the Kingdom of Sawitto was abolished and replaced by the Pinrang Level II Region. At the time, Addatuang Sawitto had the honor to lead the Pinrang Level II Region by appointing the crown prince or heir to the throne of  the Kingdom of Sawitto. The one who was appointed as regional headwas Andi Makkulawu who was the husband of Addatuang Sawitto We Rukiyah. Thus, the reign of the Kingdom of Sawitto ended and was changed to the Pinrang Level II Region which later became the Pinrang Regency.

    Abstract: This article discusses the metaphysical construction of divinity in the Indonesian Islamic education institutions, namely madrasa and pesantren. The research has been held in Malang, East Java. It focuses on constructing the negative concept of theology that grows and develops in these Islamic education institutions. In doing so, this study employs a qualitative approach coupled with Miles’ and Hubermann’s data analysis. The study finds that negative theological discourse is an arena of “prophetization” of the divine values ​​whose style of expression is apophatic. Therefore, it constructs its theological knowledge based on the logic of negation and paradox. It also “rejects” the knowledge construction for the same reason. This view affects the system of Islamic education and the framework of its educational objectives to be more oriented to the aspects of humanity and divinity or the profane and transcendental dimension. In other words, negative theology has implications for the axiology of Islamic education.

    Abstract: Penelitian bertujuan menguraikan sejarah dan perkembangan Akademi Teknik Radiodiagnostik dan Radioterapi (ATRO) Muhammadiyah Makassar, mengungkapkan latar belakang berdirinya, perkembangan tenaga pendidik, administrasi, mahasiswa,  kurikulum, sarana dan prasarana. Serta kontribusi ATRO Muhammadiyah kepada dunia pendidikan dan kepada masyarakat. Menggunakan metode historis dengan tahapan, heuristik, kritik, interpretasi dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masih kurangnya tenaga rontgen khusunya di Kawasan Indonesia Timur. Awal berdirinnya tahun 1993, kampus ini bernama Akademi Penata Rontgen (APRO), kemudian pada tahun selanjutnya yakni pada tahun 1995 berubah menjadi Akademi Teknik Radiodiagnostik dan Radioterapi (ATRO) Muhammadiyah Makassar. ATRO Muhammadiyah Makassar mengalami perkembangan.Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perkembangan sarana dan prasarana, tenaga pendidik, tenaga administrasi dan mahasiswa. Kontribusi yang diberikan ATRO Muhammadiyah Makassar yaitu memberikan kesempatan kepada masyarakat untuk menempuh Pendidikan Tinggi Kejuruan dibidang Radiologi.Selain itu lulusan ATRO Muhammadiyah Makassar bekerja di Instansi milik pemerintah maupun SwastaKata kunci : Kampus, Radiologi, dan Muhammadiyah

    Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakang, perkembangan, serta dampak keberadaan Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Tompobulu di Kecamatan Tompobulu, Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah yang terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu: heuristik, kritik sumber, interpertasi, dan historiografi. Data untuk penelitian ini diperoleh dari situs resmi dari Badan Pusat Statistik Kecamatan Tompobulu, serta hasil wawancara dengan beberapa pihak yang berperan penting dalam Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Tompobulu. Beberapa sumber buku yang terkait dengan dengan kajian penulis yang diperoleh dari Perpustakaan Kota Makassar, Perpustakaan Umum Universitas Negeri Makassar, Perpustakaan Prodi Pendidikan Sejarah, serta beberapa situs di internet. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Tompobulu memiliki peranan penting dalam dunia pendidikan di Kecamatan Tompobulu. Yayasan ini berdiri sebagai solusi bagi masyarakat Tompobulu yang mengalami kendala dalam pendidikan. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, maka yayasan ini juga mengalami perkembangan mengikuti zaman, sehingga  madrasah-madrasah naungan Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Tompobulu mampu bersaing dengan sekolah-sekolah lain yang ada di Kabupaten Gowa, khususnya di Kecamatan Tompobulu. Yayasan ini memiliki peranan yang besar dalam mencerdaskan serta meningkatkan mutu perekonomian masyarakat Kecamatan Tompobulu. Kata kunci : Yayasan, Pendidikan Islam, Tompobulu Abstract This research and writing aims to determine the background, development, and impact of the existence of the Tompobulu Islamic Education Foundation in Tompobulu District, Gowa Regency. This study uses a historical research method which consists of four stages, namely: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data for this study were obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency of Tompobulu District, as well as the results of interviews with several parties who played an important role in the Tompobulu Islamic Education Foundation. Several book sources related to the study of writers obtained from the Makassar City Library, Makassar Public University Public Library, Historical Education Study Library, and several sites on the internet. The results of this study indicate that the existence of the Tompobulu Islamic Education Foundation has an important role in the world of education in Tompobulu District. This foundation stands as a solution for the people of Tompobulu who experience obstacles in education. As time goes by, the foundation also develops with the times, so that the Islamic Education Foundation Tompobulu madrassas are able to compete with other schools in Gowa Regency, especially in Tompobulu District.
